We had the honor of producing the trophy for the 8th edition of the Innovation Prize for Craftsmanship (PIA), an event organized by the Chambre des Métiers to reward innovation in craftsmanship.

The company Cocottes won the main prize in the category Administration/Organization/Management. The trophy was officially handed over by HRH Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume.

Designed by Concept Factory, the trophy was printed by us using different materials. The hand was printed in nylon (MJF PA12) and coated with a metallic silver finish.

The crystal was printed in transparent resin, hand-polished, and painted in translucent colors to match Concept Factory’s intended 3D render sketch.

The nylon base has a black finish where we inserted a curved laser engraved plate.

A small but neat feature: we added a ring to the base to conceal the winner during the ceremony.  The ring could then be easily removed once the winner was announced.
